Royal Marigold
A shard from a broken Alfred Meakin plate has been turned into a pendant. The plate was called Royal Marigold and made in England. A sterling silver bail has been handmade, and a sterling silver chain has been added. The smooth edge has had a protective glaze added.
The shard is about 3.2 cm in diameter. With the bail the pendant is 3.6 cm. The chain is 50 cm.
The pendant comes in a black gift box, and is hallmarked at the Edinburgh Assay Office.
